To close our season, the Challenge the Stats orchestra returns to FPC for a spectacular celebration of BIPOC musicians and music, featuring some of Atlanta’s premiere performers and composers.
The unforgettable show features internationally-acclaimed soprano Indra Thomas and genre-bending cellist and composer Okorie “OK Cello” Johnson, along with Atlanta-based composers B.E. Boykin, Uzee Brown, and Joel Thompson, whose innovative and moving compositions have been praised by critics and audiences alike. In addition, don’t miss the chance to hear the CTS Juneteenth Community Choir directed by Verena Lucía Anders, a meaningfully curated ensemble uniting talented singers specifically for this event.
